Pembroke Rising is a positive nonpartisan movement giving a voice and a network to Pembroke residents who support historical American ideals and to families who value the future of their children.
 
Pembroke Rising is activism at the hometown level that balances Federal and State laws and regulations with the values and aspirations of the people of Pembroke for this place and its future. Pembroke is unique with a history of its own with time-proven values that have made it a choice place to live on the South Shore.

Featuring Katie Ferreira-Aubin of the Dighton-Rehoboth School District School Committee. Katie helped lead the effort which revamped the school policy to allow any student facing a member of the opposite sex in a sports contest to withdraw for reasons of safety from the game without penalty, a one-of-a-kind policy in MA schools. She is a petitioner on a new state bill, HD.297, An Act to Ensure Fairness And Safety In School Sports.
